CCSGA EXEC. MINUTES

August 31, 2012

·         Welcome

·         CCSGA Mission – Getting others involved/playing off the energy of the 2012 Presidential Election

·         What is our vision for CCSGA?

-Less Programming

-Inform students how to use their voice

-Get people nominated

-Have open forum every other meeting (?)

-Post issues in Post Script through PR

-Do a blog and post minutes in it (have a “Meet SGA” theme -?)

-Have Tuition Forum after Christmas break and during a Senate Meeting

-Campaign can be started w/the Honor Code, demonstrating Respect, Integrity, Responsibility, and Compassion (maybe have a faculty member nominate a student they believe has demonstrated the Honor Code the most)

·         CCSGA Elections

-Elections Info Sessions 9/6/2012 @12:30 pm BLC 101

-Online Elections 18^th-20^th of September

·         Honor Code Ceremony September 5^th @ 1pm

-Exec Board meets at 12:45 pm

·         Senate Retreat – September 23^rd

·         Getting Started

-Check Mailbox in Student Activities (Exec Board ONLY)

-SLFs and Leadership Lunches (pending)

-H drive (make sure everything is saved and put away)

-1 Flyer should be made demonstrating all Class Meetings (i.e. 1^st years, Sophomores, etc.)
