-Purchasing
books feedback: Not apart of CC. Actively working with departments to lower
costs o books. If a book’s been used for more than 3 semesters is rentable. 40%
saved for digital books. 25% saved for used. Can get a cheaper, older, edition
if applicable. Can make books packets. Ask professors are access codes
necessary
-Programs
that are trying to be implemented: “Include Ed” – 1 set cost included in
tuition and not separately from tuition. Possible payment plan for books?
“Inkling” – digital format of books, can purchase what chapters you want to use
(study guides included)

Executive Board Reports
-Caroline:
Cabinet did well in attendance. Cabinet asked SGA to promote student
participation for athletic events (free to students).

Class Reports
-Senior
Class: has the interest of 2 people to be the Activities Officer.
-Junior:
Big/Little Sister activities planning. Internet still acting up. Washing
machines are becoming an issue with Myers/Wesley. Discussed Jr. Ring Ceremony
and concerns with prices and options.
-Sophomore
Class: Decided on service project w/Myers. Senior chapel planning. Thinking
about ideas for Ludy Bowl.
-First
Year Class: Not pleased with Study Abroad options

-Build
a rapport with Liaisons.

-Blog:
Submit name, age, office, something you would like to see done via SGA, a short
intro, and a decent picture to Alysha Walters (Susan Walters) to put on blog.
